Flowers Name in English
The reproductive organs of flowering plants, also known as angiosperms, are called flowers. They are popular for artistic and aesthetic purposes since they are frequently vividly colored and have a pleasant aroma. More than 300,000 different species of flowering plants are thought to exist, and flowers occur in a broad variety of sizes and shapes.
The petals, sepals, stamens, and pistil make up a flower’s major structural components. The flower’s vibrant, leaf-like appendages that encircle its reproductive organs are called petals. The flower bud is shielded by tiny, typically green, leaf-like structures called sepals before it opens. The male reproductive system’s pollen-producing organ is the stamen. The female reproductive system, or pistil, houses the ovules that, upon fertilization, develop into seeds. They have served as a food source, a source of medicine, and a representation of beauty and love. Flowers are frequently employed as symbols for many feelings and meanings in literature, art, and other forms of culture.
